Iβm Abdulrahman Fatao, a software engineering student and a passionate InfoSec and tech enthusiast
with a passion for learning,
exploring new things, and making technology safer and more useful.
Iβm interested in defensive security, threat detection, and real-world incident response.
Youβll usually find me working πΌ, studying π, reading π,
watching football β½ or documentaries π₯ β
or getting my hands dirty in KALI π and TERMUX π±,
where the real magic happens β¨π¨βπ»
I enjoy staying up-to-date with the latest trends in technology, science, sports, and pop culture.
Iβm always looking for opportunities to expand my knowledge and skills.
βStay curious, keep exploring and do things differently!" " π
My purpose is to understand how systems fail, how attacks unfold, and how to defend against them effectively. My vision is to grow into a skilled security professional who contributes to building resilient systems and safer digital environments.
I live by these core values:
Curiosity - The drive that pushes me to explore, learn, and look deeper into how things work.
Discipline - The value that keeps me moving forward. Itβs my commitment to consistency and self-control
Integrity - Integrity is what I believe defines a person, and I strive to live by this principle every day.
Security Mindset - I always think aboyt protecting people, system and data by being proactive and staying vigilant
These principles guide my approach to learning, problem-solving,
and professional growth in the tech and security space.
I believe growth doesnβt happen in isolation. I value collaboration, mentorship, and learning from people with different perspectives. Outside tech, I stay active, grounded, and curious about the world.
A small, isolated VirtualBox home lab for learning offensive & defensive security. A VirtualBox-based home lab built to learn, simulate, and document attack/defense scenarios. I use Kali, Windows Server, and intentionally vulnerable applications to practice threat hunting, incident response, and secure configuration β all inside an isolated environment.

This project aimed to identify and mitigate an XSS vulnerability in a simulated feedback form. Using Burp Suite Professional and the PortSwigger lab "Reflected XSS into HTML context with nothing encoded," the vulnerability was successfully exploited and recommendations were made. Recommendations include input sanitization, output encoding, and Content Secunty Policy (CSP) implementation.
